Slagz is a front-end of two package management tools for Slackware[[Slack]] - swaret[[Swaret]] and slapt-get[[Slapt]]. It is written in C/C++ using the QT[[QT]] library. Slagz provides a good interface to the existing tools making them more user-friendly.

The tool will provide two variations of interface to the users. A wizard, for the newest users of Linux, and a advanced interface, where most of the information required is on one screen. With Slagz, everybody should be able to keep their Slackware up-to-date.
